Things I love:

  • my hubby
  • my French bulldog, Rafiki
  • anything sparkly, frilly or fuzzy
  • big cities
  • shopping
  • shopping
  • oh, and shopping

Born in the heart of the big city, I grew up surrounded by bright lights, busy streets, and beautifully decorated windows of the many shops of downtown Toronto… but being raised by tiger parents, it was ingrained in me to be the best and always do better. I’ve spent most of my life working hard, so I could shop harder.

Growing up I had passion for understanding of how things work, so naturally I picked science as my specialty in University. As many people do, I learned the hard way that a life in a lab was just not for me and so I began my journey into business and marketing.

During my time working in Toronto, I was fortunate enough to work and learn from creative heads in top marketing agencies developing multi-million dollar, province-wide campaigns for the Ministry of Health. It didn’t take long for me to discover a new excitement and passion for marketing. At the same time, I met my Prince Charming and a few years later, I was whisked away to start a new life in Sarnia, Ontario.

You can take the girl out of the city but you can’t take the city out of the girl.

Since moving to Sarnia, I’ve used my marketing and business experiences to pursue exciting new opportunities. I’ve worked with business coaches growing their brands and developing business operations. I have also developed integrated marketing systems for Duty Free accounts while working with major liquor and beauty brands. I started my own fun business projects like a juicing company (The Juicy Banana). All these experiences and my lifelong passion for fashion and pretty things has morphed into my latest endeavour, Lace & Charm Boutique Inc. an online fashion boutique filled with my favourite fashions, styles, and trends.

Between moving to Sarnia and starting a clothing boutique, my shopping addiction has shifted and grown from fashion. Okay, who are we kidding, I still get trapped scrolling and scrolling through other online fashion stores and blogger sites (but I can claim that as research for L&C, right?). I can safely say that the countless hours I spend online has diversified into the categories of home, beauty, health, and self-care.

So here we are now…

Executive Assistant by day, President of Lace & Charm by night. Somewhere in between I sneak in some fun and work on cultivating a lifestyle I love.

I’d like to invite you to join me on my journey and continue to visit me here in my digital home (my blog and website), I’m sharing my best learnings, search results, and experiences – in business and in life – and of course what I’m wearing while I’m doing it!

I’m always working on being the best damn version of myself – join me if you are too.
